Grete Eliassen in Minneapolis

Thanks to Red Bull for sending on this great footage of American skier Grete Eliassen heading back to her hometown yesterday for some snow action and an interview. With daffodils and crocuses popping out all over Dublin, it's strange for me to see how much snow is still around if you know where to look!

You can see more footage of Eliassen in action on her website   And what about other Northern Hemisphere readers, is it still winter where you are?

I truly enjoyed seeing winter lingers longer outside of Colorado! I'm so glad I don't live in Minnesota! That's just a little too much winter for me!

We can still get snow into June, and our first snow could come as early as September or avoid us until January. They have this saying: If you don't like the weather, stick around. It will change in five minutes!

@ Snowcatcher - June? Really, that is a very long winter especially if it starts in September, we'd still be counting that as summer in a good year! That's funny you have that saying, we do too in Ireland except it usually refers to rain not snow!
